Each arm rotates between an engaged position around the handle and an open position that restores normal access. This makes the lock practical for rooms that only need restricted access at certain times.

One Coordinated Release.
To reposition an arm, an adult presses the release buttons on both sides and rotates the lever. The coordinated two-sided action is intentionally more difficult for young children to perform accidentally.

The two arms rotate through approximately 180 degrees, allowing the lock to move between protective and pass-through positions while remaining attached beside the handle.

Does installation require drilling?

How does an adult open it?
Press the release controls on both sides at the same time, then rotate the relevant arm away from the door handle.
Can the arms stay open when the lock is not needed?
Yes. The arms rotate away from the lever so the door handle can be used normally while the device remains mounted.
Is this guaranteed to be childproof?
